Zenki (1995) is a supernatural action-fantasy anime following Chiaki Enno, a young shrine maiden who awakens Zenki, a powerful demon guardian once commanded by her ancestor. Although trapped in the form of a mischievous child, Zenki can transform into a formidable warrior to battle monstrous creatures created by the evil goddess Karuma's Seeds of Darkness. Together, Chiaki and Zenki confront supernatural threats in a story blending Japanese mythology, demon battles, adventure, and comedy.
